Leading Centralized Operations While Working From Home

    We are entering month three of quarantine in many countries, and by now those that are able to work remotely have already read all the advice and tips available. These include suggestions ranging from how to prepare a comfortable workspace at home, to managing your schedule and remaining productive without getting overly stressed.

    Teamwork in times of Home Office

    One of the most difficult things to do, as a manager, is achieving an effective teamworking synergy while helping your people to remain motivated and eager to continue delivering their best efforts. For me, the key is a mixture of three things: tools, attitude and leadership.

    These three elements are what’s working for us in our Americas Center of Excellence where, before these pandemic times, the synergy of the different teams was key to our success. I am pleased to say that we found a way to maintain that synergy and deliver an excellent service to our clients by relying on these three components. But, what’s of primary importance is that we are able to keep our teams motivated while continuing to focus on their safety.
